A BCI-responsive game environment in VR Oculus Rift

Hi, I have been working on something that would like to start sharing with everyone.

I am using OpenBCI as an input device in a game environment that I created in Unreal Engine 4 for the Oculus Rift VR with Leap Motion controller attached for greater immersion depth.

I have founded a company and the aim is to create a place where people can come and use this environment as an emergent, gamified brain-training space for self experience – to shoot magic, fly use telekinesis and general real life saiyan action, and maybe have a sword… online.

Furthermore, granted the first stage is successful, there is a plan to create an integrated multiplayer world where numerous users can participate to affect the environment together and even use their powers against each other.

At some point I will also make it publicly available.

Feel free to express any thoughts, opinions and feedback and contact me if you have the hardware and want to test the environment for yourself.

  1. What you are doing is amazing! I have been wondering for a while how to bring brain-training into the VR space with BCI and here you are doing just that. Very much looking forward to your success.
